A Halloween storm may strike Philadelphia, dampening trick-or-treating for the kids.
The National Weather Service is keeping an eye on Tropical Storm Sandy, in the Caribbean. Given prevailing weather patterns, Sandy may become a nor'easter when it blows over Eastern Pennsylvania next week.

Philadelphia, PA (Catholic Online) - It's still a week away, but the storm is churning its way into the Atlantic from the Caribbean. Computer models are predicting the storm will churn in the North Atlantic, then sometime around Halloween, strike Philadelphia.

Strong wind gusts, heavy rainfall, and flooding are all possible with the coming storm.

The storm could bypass the region altogether, but at this point the models all suggest landfall somewhere north of the Carolinas.
