For some, floodwaters like these are an invitation...
When most people hear about a superstorm flooding their local creek, they head for higher ground, but not these men...

PHILADELPHIA, PA (Catholic Online) - State police say Ricky Shellar, 20, and Matthew Sharkey, 20, of Glen Mills and Lansdowne respectively, decided the flood warning would be the perfect time to go tubing.

Inner tubes in hand, the intrepid men plunged into the turgid waters for a swimmingly good time.

When police learned of their endeavor, they responded to pull them men from the rapidly rising waters - the immediate danger.

Neither man was hurt. Both now have citations for disorderly conduct and a date with a judge, as well as a very interesting story to tell.

They are certainly to be credited with a lot of courage in the face of frigid thrills.
