Fear no more, for they will almost certainly be saved and made once again.
Business heroes are swooping in offering the save the day for Twinkies and other beloved Hostess brands, including Sun Capital headed by Philadelphia 76ers boss, Mark Leder.

PHILADELPHIA, PA (Catholic Online) - Last week's announcement that Hostess would shutter operations brought prospective buyers out of the woodwork. Any of the buyers could, and likely would, resurrect the beloved sponge-cake treats.

Mark Leder made his interest known in the brand following last week's announcement saying he could offer a better deal that would be more labor-friendly than what's currently being offered.

He also added that he'd like to see money reinvested into the company to promote innovation and modernization.

Hostess has confirmed that Leder has approached them with the prospect of a deal.

Meanwhile, a judge has ordered  Hostess and the striking labor organizers back for another round of mediation before ruling on the request to liquidate the company.
